Halfway done with squares!
With the completion of Square #9, we are halfway finished with the large squares. To mix things up a bit, our next block, beginning with tomorrow's post, will be a smaller rectangle of which we will make four, edging it in the same manner as the large blocks. Square #10 will come the following day.

sounds good Carolyn. I have been meaning to ask you if we will be done by 2/14? I am having shoulder surgery on 2/15 for a torn rotater cuff and it will drive me batty if I have to wait to complete the afghan! lol. Especially since I am doing four at one time! yikes, maybe too ambitious but determined to finish. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful patterns. So far, #8 is my fav since I really love doing cables.
Oh Boy!!! I am just finishing square #4!! I better get a move on! Maybe I should be crocheting instead of reading everyones cute blogs!! I will just have to multi-task!!!
Awesome! This is getting more and more fun! I look forward to tomorrows.
Silly question-do we have to edge the squares? I've never made an Afghan before so I don't really know.
Edging them makes them easier to piece together. So its a good idea to do it :D
I've loving do these. I've just finished 9 at 10.20pm. I was determined to finish it before going to bed :D. I've just got to edge it tomorrow and make tomorrows pattern. It coming together nicely :D.
As well as making all mine random colours, I've made the edges all random too :D Should make this interesting.
I'm only halfway done with the squares that are already posted! Yikes! Finished up a WIP, so hopefully I will have more time for this CAL.
I'm still undecided about my edging color(s). Thinking black - my squares are all in aran.
wow I cant wait to see whats next Im on number 8 myself way to go girls...
Hi Ms. mrw: I believe we will be finished well before your surgery. I feel for you-- my mother has a broken shoulder right now. You sound like me, making four afghans at once with an injury lol.
